We are pleased to offer nanny service to help both kids and parents get the most enjoyment out of our celebration! We are offering this service free of charge to our guests from 4-9pm. Nanny service is contracted with the Nanny Brigade, and will take place on site, in close proximity to wedding events. Your kids’ safety and comfort is important to us, so please do not hesitate to contact Stephen, Kim, or the Nanny Brigade with any questions!
Nanny Brigade staff is:
- Background Checked
- CPR/FIRST AID Certified (Pediatric and Adult)
- Actively working with children in a professional setting daily (teachers, child care providers, career nannies)
- Experienced on-site event professionals
- Verifiable references
- Will bring along everything needed for age appropriate activities utilizing venue spaces
Ratios:
- 1:1 infants
- 1:3 ages 1-3
- 1:5 ages 4-7
- 1:8 ages 8 and older

Ages Served
We find that most children are happier to join the adult party at about 8+ but that is touch and go. We always tell parents of older children that we do have arts and crafts and games and the older children are welcome to join us to “hang out” we also allow the older children that are in and out to not be checked in and out at the parents discretion, so they are welcome to come in with us or be out enjoying the wedding party. We do not allow children under the age of 8 that privilege and we always okay it with a parent first.
Parents are ALWAYS welcome in our space they can come hang with us to check on their children, moms can find a place to nurse or feed little ones, etc. We do ask for the children under the age of 8 are checked out, but are welcome to be in and out as often as the parents would like. We are flexible.
We love to utilize the venue! We will engage in the available activities [ie visiting animals, exploring the lake, feeding horses] likely in small groups with the nannies.
Parents will have the opportunity to meet the Nannies immediately upon arrival at the event, and can also email any questions or concerns to brita@thenannybrigade.com prior to the event. Our teams are Moms and Teachers, with a real passion for and the experience with working with children of all ages!
